Meet Our Founder: Kassandra Levay
ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
Kassandra Levay, MSFP
Owner, Child Advocacy Access Services (CAAS)
Kassandra Levay is a passionate special education advocate and the driving force behind Child Advocacy Access Services (CAAS). Her journey into advocacy began personally when her child, who has multiple disabilities, was not receiving the support they needed in school. Determined to secure the appropriate supports and outcome, Kassandra fought tirelessly—going all the way to federal court—to ensure they received the necessary services. Today, her child has a successful career and has overcome significant challenges, a testament to her unwavering commitment as well as their own motivation.
With over 20 years of experience, Kassandra has dedicated her career to helping other families navigate the often complex and challenging systems surrounding special education and family court. She understands firsthand the hardships families face and the disparities in access to services that persist due to racial, economic, and systemic inequalities. Despite ongoing challenges like education funding cuts and shifting laws, Kassandra remains steadfast in her mission to protect children and empower families.
Through CAAS, Kassandra provides specialized education advocacy and supervised visitation services designed to prioritize the welfare of children in all circumstances. Her agency is known for its personalized, compassionate approach and a deep commitment to helping children reach their full potential and grow into independent, thriving adults.
Kassandra’s work is rooted in empathy, resilience, and a powerful belief that every child deserves a dedicated advocate who puts their needs first—whether at school, in court, or at home. She continues to pursue advanced education and training to stay at the forefront of her field, ensuring CAAS delivers the highest standard of care and support.
Compassion. Clarity. Support.
At CAAS, we offer a unique combination of professional supervision services and special education advocacy to support families, students, and professionals navigating challenging systems. Whether you're facing court-ordered visitation, custody transitions, or the complexities of special education, our team is here to help you move forward with confidence.
Why CAAS Exists:
CAAS exists to ensure that children’s rights and well-being are protected across all aspects of their lives—from family court to the classroom. We provide supervised visitation, parent coaching, home inspections, and special education advocacy to support families navigating complex systems with clarity, care, and professionalism.
What Does CAAS Do?
Child Advocacy Access Services (CAAS) provides specialized support to families involved in court-ordered services and educational advocacy. Our mission is to ensure that children remain safe, supported, and heard during times of family transition or educational challenges.
Our Services
Supervised Visitation: Neutral, court-compliant visitation monitoring that prioritizes child safety and emotional well-being.
Parent Coaching: Strength-based support to help parents build healthy, effective parenting strategies that align with court goals.
Home Inspections: Thorough, unbiased assessments that provide the court with clear documentation regarding a child's living environment.
Special Education Advocacy: Guidance and representation for parents navigating the IEP/504 process, ensuring that students receive the services and accommodations they are legally entitled to in the school system.
Our Approach:
At CAAS, we believe that every child deserves safety, stability, and a voice. Our trauma-informed, child-centered approach balances structure with empathy. We collaborate with courts, schools, and families to provide services that are respectful, solution-oriented, and grounded in professional standards.
What Sets CAAS Apart:
In a city where many providers offer supervised visitation, Child Advocacy Access Services (CAAS) goes further. We don’t just monitor visits—we support the whole child. What sets CAAS apart is our multi-dimensional approach that combines professional supervision with parent coaching, home inspections, and special education advocacy.
While others focus solely on compliance, we focus on outcomes. Every service we offer is designed to reduce family conflict, promote healthy parent-child relationships, and ensure the child’s best interests are protected in both home and school settings.
Our team is trauma-informed, neutral, and highly trained, bringing compassion and clarity to families during difficult transitions. We serve not just as observers, but as a bridge between families, courts, and schools—offering insight, support, and structure when it matters most.
